Parking:

The Kent Hotel does not have its own parking area but it does offer discounted Valet Parking Service through an outside company at a rate of $35.00 per day for unlimited in and out privileges.

Occupancy:

There is a limit of 4 people per room in units equipped with 2 beds. Rooms equipped with 1 bed have a limit of 2 people per room.

Extra Person Fee:
All room rates are based on double occupancy (2 people). Should a guest book a room for 2 people and arrive at the hotel with an extra person(s), an additional $20.00 plus tax will be added to the daily room rate for each extra person that will be occupying the room.

Reservations Deposit:

The hotel requires the pre-payment of the first night’s room and tax (tax is 14% in Miami Beach) upon the booking of any reservation. Any reservation without a deposit can be canceled by the hotel at any time.

Rate Rules/Restrictions:

Rates are confirmed in the currency of the country in which the hotel is located unless otherwise specified in your e-mail confirmation details. Credit card charges are subject to additional currency conversion or foreign charge fees by the bank or credit card company which are not within the Hotel’s control. All special offers and promotions are marked as such. If they are not labeled as such, you cannot derive any rights in the event of obvious errors or mistakes. Rates confirmed are for the number of occupants listed in your e-mail confirmation, per room, per night and do not include additional charges for roll away beds or extra people and will apply only to rooms booked as part of this reservation. Tour and package rates vary according to the features of the specific package or program offered at the hotel. The applicable charges for the packages confirmed are indicated in your e-mail confirmation details. Applicable taxes, service charges, and value-added tax (VAT), if applicable, will be added to the hotel bill unless indicated as a package feature. The taxes, service charges and value added tax shown on your e-mail confirmation are those currently in effect. Taxes, service charges, etc. are subject to change without notice according to local law.

Cancellation Policy:

We extend a 72 Hour Cancellation Policy to all reservations unless they are non-refundable. Guests may cancel a reservation 3 days or more prior to their arrival date and receive a full refund of their reservation deposit. Please note that special events require a 30 Day cancellation policy. Any change to your arrival or departure date or room type is subject to the Hotel’s availability at the time the modification is requested and may change the rate and/or require payment of cancellation fees. To make a change please contact our sales office. Rates quoted are based on check-in date and length of stay shown. Should you depart early before the departure date confirmed for any reason the Kent Hotel may impose an early departure fee and/or collect the balance of the original reservation amount.

Early Check-In/Late Check-Out:

Rooms may not be available until the hotels designated check-in time (4 PM). Early check-in is extended complimentary based on availability and at times can be offered at a fee (fee varies) depending on arrival time. The late check-out fee varies depending on the time of day and your request. If a room is not available upon early arrival or we cannot extend your requested late check-out our bell staff will be happy to store your luggage on your behalf.

Smoking:

The Kent Hotel does not have any smoking rooms – all of our rooms are considered non-smoking rooms and guests are not allowed to smoke anywhere inside the property. Please be aware that anyone who smokes in our rooms is doing so against our policies and will be subjected to a $250.00 smoking fee daily! Please do NOT smoke in your room, this policy and fee will be strictly enforced – we will not apply any leniency on this fee.

Packages:
Hotel guests can mail packages prior to or during their stay free of charge. We will hold the package until it is picked up by the guest. We encourage guests to put the same name on the package as the name on the reservation so it can be easily located. Guests are responsible for making sure that they retrieve their package prior to check-out. Should a package be left behind at the hotel, guests will be responsible for the shipping and handling charges associated with retrieval of their package. Any package left behind at the hotel for over 14 days will be disposed of. There is a size and quantity limit to packages being held for free, if the size or quantity of a package(s) are excessive we reserve the right to charge a storage and holding fee. The default limit on packages is 3 per room.

Age Limits:

To book a reservation or to check-in to the hotel, a guest must be 21+ years of age or older.

Payment Types Accepted:

Visa, Euro/Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We do not accept personal checks or pre-paid credit cards as payment. We do not accept cash as payment for the incidentals deposit. All guests must have a credit card or debit card for the security deposit or you may not be able to check-in. We highly recommend that guests avoid using a debit card or check card for their incidentals hold as those types of card can take up to 30 days to release an authorization.

Deposits:

Upon Check-in all guests are required to place a deposit on their room. This deposit covers all incidentals (telephone calls, room service, laundry service, room damages etc.) An authorization will be placed on the credit card provided for the room and tax balance of the reservation, along with an additional amount to cover incidentals ($100.00 for the stay, on top of any pending balance on the reservation) – Debit Card authorizations appear as a “pending charge” on the card. Once a guest has checked out authorizations typically take 5 to 7 business days to be removed. We do not control the amount of time it takes for a hold to be removed, this is determined by the issuing bank. Cash Deposits will not be accepted as payment for the incidentals deposit.

Lost & Found:
The hotel provides in-room safes for every room. We encourage all guests to keep valuables in their safe. We will not be held liable for any missing items from the room. Any items left behind after a guest has checked-out may be considered “disposable” and can be thrown out. Should the hotel deem an item “valuable” and enter it into our “Lost and Found” items, it will be held for a maximum of 14 days. Any item that has been in Lost and Found for over 14 days will be disposed of accordingly. Guests are responsible for the shipping and handling charges associated with the retrieval of their items.

Housekeeping Services:
Please note – due to Covid19 and City, State, and National safety measures that we are following, daily housekeeping services are not currently operating until further notice.

Resort Fee:
Every reservation will be charged a $22.80 per night resort fee that is collected upon check-in and/or added to the final bill. This fee covers the following amenities: Wifi Internet, Beach Towel Rentals, Package Storage and Retention, Fax and Copier Services, Luggage Storage prior to check-in and after check-out, Local and Domestic phone calls throughout the U.S.

Pet Policy:
The Kent Hotel is a pet friendly property – please note though that we do have a limit of one dog per room, there is a weight limit of 30lbs. on all pets, and the hotel charges a pet fee (non-refundable) of $50.00 for the duration of your stay. We expect our furry guests to be well behaved, excessive barking that becomes detrimental to other guests will not be tolerated and can be deemed as a cause to cancel your current reservation.

Groups:
